David is an award winning CEO, entrepreneur, author, and renowned public speaker. In 2011, he published his first book, Fundamentally Different, which is based on the insights he learned and taught throughout his leadership career. 2021 he published the second edition of his book, Culture by Design, the definitive “how to” manual for building a high-performing culture. His current company, High Performing Culture, has helped companies throughout North America to implement his culture operating system, CultureWise.

Steven Shapiro & Nancy Shapiro Rapport

Steven Shapiro and Nancy Shapiro Rapport are a dynamic brother-sister speaking team.

Steven is the host of the acclaimed podcast Experience Matters, where he has featured nationally prominent guests including Daniel Pink, Father Greg Boyle, and Tony Wagner. He has also been a guest on many education-related podcasts including Better Learning, where he addressed the youth mental health crisis, and Transformative Learning Experiences and Learning Unboxed, where he reimagined the schooling experience. Steven has been a keynote and featured speaker at many American conferences and has spoken internationally at conferences in Poland, Ukraine, South Africa, and Nepal. He has also made appearances on national news broadcasts, including being interviewed by NBC anchor Brian Williams. Steven and his wife Susan raised three (now grown) children who consider each other best friends. Building a loving, close-knit family has been his life’s most satisfying experience.

In her long career as a middle school counselor, Nancy delivered hundreds of addresses over the years to large audiences of students, parents, colleagues and fellow educators. As a certified Chief Question Officer of the Inquiry Institute, she has run successful coaching groups and taught courses to adult learners about the power of mindset. As a young, two-time breast cancer survivor (2000 & 2002), some of her most heartfelt speaking engagements have been through her work as an Ohio State University James Cancer Center Ambassador and a member of the Pelotonia community. Nancy is a single parent of two, one of whom has autism. Her life experience, combined with her deep sense of empathy, resilience, passion, and (most importantly) her sense of humor, make her a relatable and engaging speaker and facilitator.
